During this time, she completed the Financial Planning program at Old Dominion University and in 2012 she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. She spent the next three and half years as the Director of Financial Planning for MassMutual where she diligently worked to build a financial planning department that served over 75 financial advisers and their clients.

    For the past eight years, Allison held the position of Director of Financial Planning for a firm in Virginia; overseeing the firm’s financial planning process and working directly with the firm’s clients. During this time, she co-hosted a popular radio show, providing free financial advice to the local community.

    Allison is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads, having served on its Board of Directors for 7 years and as 2018 President. She attends monthly educational meetings, industry conferences and seminars to continue her education.
